The Rosenbach Museum and Library

The Rosenbach is a Philadelphia museum and library located within two 19th-century townhouses. The historic houses contain the collections and treasures of Philip Rosenbach and his younger brother Dr. A. S. W. Rosenbach.

We're pleased to welcome you to our newest permanent exhibition Treasures from the Rosenbach's Collection. Treasures from the Rosenbach's Collection features two gallery spaces dedicated to Literature from the British Isles and the history of printed text from the 15th Century to the Harlem Renaissance and beyond. Rare editions of historical texts will be on display—first editions, autographed works, author notes from James Joyce, Bram Stoker, and more—as well as a special art installation from Philadelphia artist John Wind.
