Her recently released fifth solo project entitled He Loves Me (Nettie’s Child Music/MNRK Records) is her first full project in over 10 years. The title track penned by Maurette, features #1 Billboard Gospel Airplay chart topper “I See Good”, along with fresh remakes of her classics “I Just Wanna Praise You” and “Angels” (Richard Smallwood and Vision) and garnered Stellar and Dove Award nominations in 2024.
Maurette is the owner of Nettie’s Child Music and Management LLC, a music, management company that provides services for Grammy, Stellar and Dove Award winning gospel artists.
In addition to her musical career, Maurette is the morning show host on Heaven 600, an iHeart radio station in Baltimore. “A Good Morning with Maurette” can be heard Monday-Friday, 6am-10am EST.
Plans to record again are being made, along with a national tour in 2026.
