A Stellar Award Nominated #1 Billboard & Multiple Top 20 Charting Choir was formed in 2003. A group of singers & musicians united to uplift the name of the lord through song is based out of Philadelphia, PA. Their membership spans the Tri State area & more! They have been blessed to minister with some of Gospel music’s finest, Ricky Dillard & New G, Kurt Carr, Kim Burrell, Donald Lawrence & The Tri City Singers, Dottie Peoples, Tramaine Hawkins, Dorinda Clark , Deitrick Haddon Pastor, Shirley Caesar, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Pastor John P Kee & Dr. Bobby Jones. ZW1A were also blessed to be a part of The International Gospel Industry Retreat& The Urban Impact Summit. Both aired on The Word Network. They have appeared numerous times on Bobby Jones Gospel formerly of BET. ZW1A also had the opportunity to participate in the Josh Groban & Trace Atkins tours respectively as well as the Timeless Tour. The project “Zak Williams & 1/AKORD THE NEXT CHAPTER” was released nationwide July 2019, featuring previously released multiple singles that reached the top 30! “The project debuted @ #7 on Billboard. The previous single “Jehovah Jireh” garnered Most Added & Increased plays on Billboard gospel charts & made it to #1 on Billboards top 100. In January 2020 ZW & 1/A was nominated for the 2020 Stellar Awards Traditional Choir Of The Year. ZW1A does a yearly city toy & coat drive and aid to families in need.
