Philadelphia native, Treena Ferebee was born into a musical family and made to sing before she could even talk.
Throughout her career she has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Legendary and local artists such as Stevie Wonder, Prince, Chaka Khan, Vivian Green, Musiq soulchild, Kurt Carr, Jazmine Sullivan and many more. She has made television appearances on The Tonight Show, The Late Show, The Soul Train Music Awards, BET’s 106th & Park, and other European television shows.
Treena, also known as TREE or QUEEN TREE, has had the honor of featuring twice in performances alongside Grammy and Emmy award-winning Jazz pianist, Robert Glasper. Under the direction of the legendary composer and conductor Benjamin Wright accompanied by the Philly Pops full Orchestra, Treena experienced what she recalls as one of the fondest highlights of her career as she humbly filled in and performed in place of the iconic legend Gladys Knight! Following that amazing experience Tree has had the honor of being the very first female to hold the position of both Background vocalist and Musical Director for Vivian Green. Annually Treena has become a beloved staple for the Thanksgiving Day Parade of Philadelphia where people anticipate her one-of-a-kind performance. In her words; “I am absolutely grateful to have the gift of music to share as a common language to everyone all around theworld!
