6 Singing Sista’s are a group of ladies who met while singing in a renowned gospel group (GMPA) Gospel Music Preservation Alliance Choir. These dynamic women of God love ministering the word of God through song whenever the opportunity permits. God has blessed each individual lady with vocal talents that have been said to blow your mind by many, however the ladies declare “That the most important entity is their love for Jesus Christ”. Each one of these phenomenal women set a tone to this group of singers, we pray together, share words of wisdom, laugh, support, and love each other. Melanie Richardson is well known throughout the Philly area for her vocals; from a hymnal to a up tempo gospel song she can shake the rafters off the church”. Karen Mercer Hines, who is very well-known in Philly and beyond is the musical director who is responsible for putting the group together. Bethany White Smith is a phenomenal conductor and background soloist. Triesse Laws has one of the loveliest soprano voices you want to hear. Trina Bass, another soprano whose mellow vocals are calm like a cool stream. Jackie Wilson Sampson will never lead you wrong on that alto note! Please keep the “6 Singing Sista’s” in your prayers as we set ourselves aside and allow God to minister through us, that souls will cry out “What must I do to be saved”?
