Kutest Kids

Kutest Kids’ Parents as Teachers program (KKPAT) is a voluntary, evidence-based home-visiting program that empowers parents to be their child’s first and best teachers. KKPAT partner with parents to enhance and build on what they’ve already established in their homes with their children by focusing on three areas of emphasis- parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting, and family wellbeing.

“My team of family empowerment coaches provides resources and tools to support families with parenting and child development, in addition to setting and reaching personal goals. We facilitate parent-child activities during home visits and reflect with parents to ensure we are servicing them in the best way possible. We also have monthly group connection events for the entire family that are both educational and fun. Our services are free of charge and we service mothers who are pregnant, as well as families with children ages 0-5 or kindergarten entry. There is no age restriction for events, however. Philadelphia (all zip codes) and parts of Montgomery County (bordering Philadelphia) are our service areas. We have a number of program enhancements to keep families engaged. Our table will consist of free children’s books; KKPAT event flyers; KKPAT service flyers; raffles for 5 packs of diapers and 5 packs of wipes (10 raffles in all); free branded pens, keychains, and candy!” – Vonee Hill, Executive Director of Kutest Kids’ Parents as Teachers program
