PNC Presents: Avenue of the Arts Block Party

The Avenue of the Arts comes to life with entertainment, art, food and more! Enjoy high-powered entertainment on the PNC Arts Alive Stage and the PA Lottery Groove from local and world-renowned artists, including Lady Alma, Tara Hendricks, Seraiah Nicole, Princess Idia Gamble, American Dinosaur, Arato Brothers, Stella Ruze and more!

Take a stroll down PNC Arts Alive Alley and experience live art, including an art installation by Mural Arts Philadelphia artist Alexei Mansour. Head inside the Kimmel Center for a preview of the Kimmel Cultural Campus’ Broadway season with performances from Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Disney’s The Lion King, and Disney’s Frozen.

Enjoy Let’s Rock Recess, a family-friendly dance party with Emcee Mighty Flipside and DJ Stan featuring fun interactive games, dance contests, and prizes, along with a soulful line dance demonstration with The Parkside Experience featuring DJ Chris Blues and W.D.O.H. Kids.

Kids-at-heart can slide down the 120-foot slide FREE of charge or experience one of the many interactive activations including Gabby On The Go, a cat-tastic new experience full of fun free activities inspired by Gabby’s Dollhouse, PNC Mobile Learning Adventure, and the Well-being on Wheels presented by Independence Blue Cross, featuring free health screenings, wellness information and nutrition takeaways.

Grab a bite to eat from one of the many local food trucks or nearby restaurants, shop local vendors and snag free giveaways from festival sponsors. There is sure to be something for everyone at this day-long block party!

Alexei Mansour

Alexei Mansour is a Philadelphia based artist & photographer. He graduated from Tyler School of Art with a BFA in Painting and Art History minor and is a former member of the artist collective New Boone. He has always been influenced by the rich traditions of his eastern cultural and religious upbringing, and has centered his work around exploring subjective queerness through these various multiplicities of identity.
Ashley Daily
Musical Artist
Ashley Daily is best known for her dynamic presence and vocal versatility. She has loved performing in 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade, Wawa Welcome America Festival, and recording for National Geographic! Offstage, she is a proud arts educator at Betsy Daily School of Performing Arts and is best known by her students for her contagious enthusiasm and unwavering support.
Ryan Sab

Emerging from the suburbs of Philadelphia, new artist, RYAN SAB, bridges together acoustic rock and indie pop to make music that’s rooted deep with storytelling lyrics and catchy melodies.  He has performed at The Superhero Gala for The Superhero Project Inc., The Philadelphia Eagles Autism Challenge Kick-Off Party at Lincoln Financial Field, and Christmas Village in Philadelphia at LOVE Park, as well as at live music venues and corporate events.  Ryan's new single, “I’m Leaving,” is available now on all music platforms.

Bassist, Kevin Arthur is one of Philadelphia’s versatile musicians. He is a Stellar Award and Grammy-nominated producer who has graced global stages with Grammy-winning and Oscar- winning artists including Common, Jill Scott, Christina Aguilera, The Roots and Boyz II Men.
Celina Velez
Musician
Celina Velez is a well known musician and educator in the Philadelphia area. A versatile collaborator across all genres, she was named to Yamaha's inaugural list of '40 music educators of excellence under 40'. She is a tireless advocate for music education, arts integration and creating performance opportunities for musicians of all ages.
Arato Brothers Band
Musician
From New Jersey, the Arato Brothers Band is a multi-awarded group of highly skilled young musicians. The band received numerous awards and recognition including those from World Championship of Performing Arts 2019 as Junior Grand Champion Vocal Group of the World & Elephant Talk Indie Music Teen Band of the year from 2018 to 2022. Thought the vocal duties revolves among the members, they are all multi-instrumentalists. But they play their main instruments live performances as follows: Gabe is the keyboardist, Raf is the lead guitarist, Seany Boy plays the drums, and last but not least, Miggy (Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder) is the bass guitarist. The Arato Brothers Band is a strong advocate for Autism Awareness & Autism Acceptance.
