
The Richard Allen Museum features a collection of artifacts, historical documents and artwork paying homage to Bishop Richard Allen a key figure in the late 18th and 19th century as well as the the journey of black excellence from Americas beginnings. The Museum is located on the oldest parcel of land continuously owned by African American in the United Stated purchased by Bishop Richard Allen in 1791. In addition to the museum, visitors will be invited to tour the priceless stained glass window collection dating back to the 1890s.
