Float Fest invites guests to an exclusive sneak peek of the spectacular floats before they roll through the streets in The Salute to Independence Semiquincentennial Parade on July 3. This immersive pre-parade experience gives attendees the opportunity to get up close to the artistry and creativity behind the celebration, snap photos, and experience the excitement before parade day begins.
The Salute to Independence Semiquincentennial Parade will take center stage as the nation’s largest professionally produced celebration honoring America’s 250th anniversary. Featuring 250 vibrant parade elements representing all 50 states and U.S. territories, the parade will showcase a dazzling display of music, culture, history, and patriotic pride. In addition, marching bands from France, Sweden, Ireland, Germany, Columbia, Italy, and England will add international excitement to this once-in-a-lifetime parade.
A highlight of the celebration includes appearances by all 53 Miss America state and territory titleholders, each representing their home state or territory through themed costumes, and visual storytelling that celebrate the unique spirit of America.
